Field Sales

We have an extensive Field Sales organisation with around 6,200 employees who focus on local account management and great merchandising. Field Sales is divided into two different channels, Home and Cold. The Home channel focuses on our work with big supermarkets, hypermarkets and grocery customers. Our teams in the Cold channel work with smaller customers in a tremendous variety of outlets including bars, nightclubs, restaurants, cafés, petrol stations and corner shops. In some of our countries, we also have an 'At Work' channel, which is responsible for distributing our coffee brand Chaqwa to offices and outlets. You can find our Chaqwa coffee in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.

Call Centres

We have successful, fun and competitive sales teams in two areas: outbound and inbound calls. It is a target driven-environment and we have a real thirst to deliver results through focusing on people engagement and development.

As a sales representative in one of our call centres, your responsibilities will include:

  • Informing our customers about new and existing products as well as following up on marketing and sales campaigns
  • Conducting customer development calls by telephone
  • Driving additional sales
  • Providing order support for wholesalers
  • Receiving incoming calls or online orders from customers looking to order new products

Sales Representatives

A role within our Field Sales team is like no other, and not just because you will be promoting products that are loved by millions around the globe. As part of a dynamic and specialised Field Sales team you will be responsible for growing our business, delivering value and volume growth for our customers and for Coca-Cola European Partners. You will take responsibility for customers in a geographic area, driving sales of our brands by helping your customers with improved brand distribution, availability and visibility alongside execution of the growth plans agreed by the National Account teams.

This includes in-person visits to our customers, making sure each outlet follows the joint central agreements that our national Key Account teams have put in place, that our customers develop and grow by acquiring additional products, campaigns and displays. Additionally, our sales representatives will negotiate to use the shop floor or outlet to acquire more space for our visible merchandising, to enable a win-win solution for both our customers and Coca-Cola European Partners. You will travel by company provided car and all the roles are home based. You will use your company provided laptop or iPad as tools to enable you to be successful in your role.

Field Sales Accounts Professionals

The Professional Field Sales Account is an elevated Sales Representative role and, similar to the sales representative, focuses on our customers in the field growing our business within a range of distribution channels delivering value and volume growth for our customers and Coca-Cola European Partners. The difference is that this role will manage a larger customer base, be it regional customers or groups of customers. This role requires you to be successful in influencing a group of stakeholders or to conduct business with a regional customer with a number of outlets. You will drive sales of our brands by working with your customers to deliver improved distribution, availability and visibility alongside execution of the plans agreed by the National Account teams. This includes visits to our customers, joining larger buying group meetings, making sure each outlet follows our joint central agreements that our customers develop and grow by acquiring additional products, campaigns and displays to achieve a win-win solution for our customers and Coca-Cola European Partners.You will travel by company provided car and the role is home based. You will use your company provided laptop or iPad as tools to enable you to be successful in your role.

Field Sales Managers

A role within Field Sales is like no other, and not just because you will be promoting products that are loved by millions around the globe. You will become part of a dynamic and specialised Field Sales team. You will be responsible for growing our business within a range of distribution channels delivering value and volume growth for our customers and Coca-Cola European Partners. As a leader within this organisation you will coach, train and lead a group of Sales Representatives and Field Sales Accounts in a specific region and channel. The role of a sales manager is to lead a team of people and maximize their potential to achieve and realise their targets and objectives. The responsibilities of this role range from meeting up with the team regularly to coaching and supporting your team on an individual basis. Most of the time is not spend in an office; it is more focused on being out in the field with the sales representatives in the team, visiting our customers. You will travel by company car and the role is home based. You will use your company provided laptop or iPad as tools to enable you to be successful in your role.
